Ministry Description

Encourage the church body to reach out and witness to non-believers using sports events as a link. Facilitate evangelism among the church by organizing sporting events to where non-believers who share a passion for sports can fellowship with believers in a non-threatening, non-intimidating environment.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings.

Be able to take on roles involving prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and administration.

Optional roles include treasury, food preparation, and advertising.

To instruct graduates of the CLASS 301 program on evangelism and missions.

Responsibilities

Teach 401 for one school term.

Co-operate with co-teacher.

Take preparation time for each class.

Provide students with material. Assign tasks such as memory verses or other work.

Lead students through the studies.

Report to Equip deacon and note weekly attendance.

Pray.

Be prepared to teach solo if co-teacher is unavailable.

Ministry Description

To encourage and educate the ESM family in evangelism as part of the ESMT board by delegating evangelism-inspiring events through volunteers. This includes holding Sunday school classes and/or workshops, provide written material, organize events where non-believers can attend. To promote & educate missions and encourage believers to go make disciples of all nations.

Responsibilities

Attend monthly ESMT meetings. Write monthly reports. Read 8 reports/minutes per month. Participate as usher and communion usher. Attend monthly prayer meetings. Stay in contact with evangelism deacon on CSM and MSM side. Set an example. Be reliable, versatile, and dependable. Attend mission related meetings and promote missions.

Maintain contact between fellowship/cell group and missionary via email or letter.

Give updates to Missionary Connection Co-ordinator every 2 months (2005). Fill out end of year survey.

Advertise event using posters and videos.

Distribute boxes and brochures.

Co-ordinate the shipment of boxes to designated collection areas.
