Announcements

1. Welcome this morning to our worship service.  It is our joy to have you here with us this day.  May you find our church to not only be a place where you can connect with God but as well with others. If you are a newcomer or reconnecting after being away a while, we kindly ask that you take a moment to fill in a information card so that we can further connect with you.

2. ESM Sunday School has started.  All classes will be at Somerset West Community Health Centre except for Class 101 “Baptism” which will be in the office.

3. ESM Coffee Corner  Join us after service in the fellowship hall for a time of refreshment and fellowship. We are looking for more helpers for this ministry (bakers, set-up, clean-up). If you want also wanting to donate Coffee or Tea, please see Kandice B. or Pastor Dave.

4. 2010 Offering Records  is posted on the bulletin board upstairs, please check.  If you have any queries please contact Ellen H.

5. Pastoral Staff Schedules: Pastor Gerald C. - Feb 2-20, short Term Mission in Venezuela. Pastor Cynthia – Pastor Cynthia is taking a leave of absence from February 15 to March 14 inclusively. In her absence, please see Grace Louis, Janice Yu or Teri Chan for matters relating to CM.

Student Ministry

1. SM Joint Ski trip Feb 25  Mark the date down on your calendars.  Our annual Ski/Snowboard Trip to Mont Cascades will be on Feb 25th.  Invite you friends, family and peers for a fun day on the slopes.  Please obtain permission forms form Pastor Dave’s office door.  Deadline to sign up is Feb 11.

2. Rock the River Student Launch  Friday Feb 10th @ 7 pm at Cedarview Alliance Church.. All students are invited to attend this kick off event for the upcoming outreach event later this year.  A great night with music, a speaker and fellowship with students from all across Ottawa. This is our SM event for next week.  There is no Saturday event

3. The Getaway High School Retreat March 16-18.  Please keep this weekend free. Registration forms will be out in the next couple of weeks.

4. No Other Name Good Friday Rally April 6 @ Beatrice Desloges High School. Save the date. Please register with Pastor Dave if you want to attend. Early Bird is $29 by March 15th.

Children Ministry

1. VAULT Conference Feb 11, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm at the Met.  Parents, teachers, helpers -- help children grow spiritually at 50% off!  Register today at www.kidsministry.ca.  Bring your receipt to Cynthia for reimbursement.

2. Last Chance!  Gr. 3-6, reserve your spot TODAY for the Club FrenzE mini-golf outing to Putting Edge on Feb 11, 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  Forms available at Sign-In.  Return forms and payment to Cynthia.

3. Feb 10 Fantastic Family Fun Night  Games and activities for the whole family (5:30 - 6:30 pm) and special program featuring Kidologist Karl B. (7:00 pm) at the Met.  Tickets $4 per person.  Get yours at the Sign-In Table until Feb 5 or Salem Storehouse.

4. Mission Possible Love to hang out with babies, preschoolers or Gr. 1-6?  Be a helper for Mar 3 Missions Night.  Please see Cynthia.
