Effective Prayer
(from the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada)
∙ An inseparable link exists between prayer and fruitful ministry, since it is through our prayers that God has chosen to unleash his power.
There are seven ways to help you pray more effectively for Alliance missionaries.

Manjohn and Christina
Wong,
Netherlands
(Silk Road) |
|
Praise God for a great turn-out at the vision-sharing meeting to
promote the formation of a Christian Centre for Gambling
Rehabilitation in Holland. Almost all of their invited guests came,
and they unanimously agreed that there is a great need for this
ministry. Prayer requests: |
- Pray for God' continued wisdom and guidance as they strive
to move ahead with ministry of a Christian Centre for Gambling
Rehabilitation.
- Pray for the summer camp (July 14-18) where 83 people have
already registered and most are non-believers. Pray for Pastor
Daniel and the 4 members of OCAC who will preach and lead at the
Camp.
- Pray for God's guidance as Manjohn and Christina will no
longer be able to stay in Amsterdam after August this year
because of the enforcement of the visa requirements.

obtain their visas to be completed in the next few days.

Joseph and Helen Lee,

Praise God that Lois was able to finish translating the Aids booklet
in Moni.
|
|
Joseph and Liza Ng, Cambodia |
After 3 months of home assignment in Hong Kong, they have arrived
back in Phnom Penh. God is faithful that they have found a house
just 5 min walk to their church despite the higher and higher rental
cost in the capital and areas around. They got the approval and
blessings from their mission board to purchase and build the church
property.
Prayer requests: |
- Get to know and outreach to their neighbours.
- That the church building goes smoothly.
- The spiritual growth of their members.
